The issue of Cristiano Ronaldo’s future at Manchester United has yet to subside. Now the Portuguese man is reportedly planning to leave Old Trafford in the summer of 2022.
Ronaldo actually only returned to Manchester United in the summer of 2021. The Red Devils recruited him from Juventus to thwart Ronaldo’s move to city rivals Manchester City.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s performance is still low at Manchester United even though it’s been 36 years. Georgina Rodriguez’s lover made 14 goals from 21 appearances with MU in various competitions.
Unfortunately Ronaldo could not lift the achievement of MU. The Red Devils actually performed worse than last season when it was not reinforced by Ronaldo. They are stranded in seventh place in the Premier League standings.
MU’s poor performance reportedly made Ronaldo unhappy. This is implied from Ronaldo’s frequent expression of frustration on the pitch.
Want to go
Ronaldo has always wanted the team he was defending to win the title. Seeing the current condition of Manchester United, it seems difficult to win the Premier League or Champions League this season.
Spanish media Sport again heated the issue of Ronaldo’s future. Earlier this week Sport claimed Ronaldo had decided to move at the end of the season.
The former Real Madrid player has asked his agent Jorge Mendes to help find a new club if he can leave Manchester United in the summer of 2022. Ronaldo held a meeting with Mendes in early 2022.
Ronaldo himself is still under contract with MU until June 2023. Several clubs that are said to be Ronado’s next port are Barcelona and Sporting Lisbon.
