Andrew Garfield Finally Opens Up About His Involvement in Spider-Man: No Way Home

Andrew Garfield

Andrew Garfield finally got out of the confines of Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures to keep his role back as Peter Parker aka Spider-Man in the film Spider-Man: No Way Home a secret.

As we know, in Spider-Man: No Way Home, Peter Parker from The Amazing Spider-Man, played by Andrew Garfield, is transported to the universe of Spider-Man, the Avengers version, played by Tom Holland.

Prior to the film’s release, Andrew Garfield was forced to lie repeatedly at every question and answer program. Finally, after nearly three weeks of airing, Andrew can freely speak about his role in No Way Home.

Feeling Grateful

Andrew Garfield was apparently relieved to find out his version of Peter Parker’s fate again after Sony hung him at the end of The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

“I am very grateful. I’m really, really grateful to be able to tie some loose ends for the Peter I played,” said Andrew Garfield in an interview with Variety, launched from forbes.com, recently.

Amazing Experience

In Andrew’s eyes, being able to appear in Spider-Man: No Way Home is an extraordinary experience because he thinks all parties involved are very special.

“I love the characters and I’m grateful to be able to work with these amazing actors, these amazing directors, and Marvel with Sony. It was fun, and a closing feeling for me,” he continued.

Unsolved Questions

The reason Andrew agreed to return in Spider-Man: No Way Home began with a number of questions in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 that still needed answers but were not continued.

“There were so many unanswered questions for my Peter when we left him. I had to step back and get a recovery for him,” Andrew said of his version of Peter Parker.

Support Tom Holland

Regarding Tom Holland as Spider-Man, Andrew Garfield admitted that he really supports him and the three films that have been successfully screened with director Jon Watts.

“And also very supportive of Peter (Tom Holland), and respect for his character completing the trilogy, not distracting or detracting from it,” said Andrew Garfield.
